We Want Hugs
Korte Keizersstraat – Amsterdam Centre.
This picture was taken last Saturday, during a walk through the city. It struck me that people in the city – more than usual – need contact, a greeting, eye contact. This woman sat on this bench enjoying the sun, and had a nice chat with a number of passers-by.
Especially in these times we need a cuddle, warmth, love. This dog ran enthusiastically towards this lady to give her a spontaneous hug, which she probably could use well. At 1.5m distance, though.
