Ever since University of Amsterdam closed and cancelled in-person classes, my experience as an exchange student changed dramatically. Most of my friends left for their home countries, and I found myself experiencing Amsterdam in a very different light. I took this picture in a quiet afternoon from my residence’s terrace near Roeterseiland campus. From this angle, my time as a regular student at UvA seems like a distant but happy memory.
