In your cage, 15-4-20

The closer the big hand of the clock moves towards 12, the faster I can see people cycle, walk and drive. It’s pretty busy really. It is 20.45 hours and some people have decided to quickly nip to the shops, go for a last walk around the block or travel to their final destination for the day. Once the clock strikes nine, the streets quickly look almost deserted and the empty trams, bicycle couriers, taxis and people walking their dogs are all I can see. Some people are waiting on empty train platforms. Are they on their way home or on their way to work? It makes for a desolate picture. I prefer watching the lights in the apartment blocks. I wonder what they look like inside?
