Where Have All the People Gone?
door Marijke Winnubst
During the COVID-19 outbreak I felt removed from my family and friends, I couldn’t see them or cuddle them. That’s when the Afghan New Year, also called Nowruz, started. One of those rare moments when I can experience my Afghan roots. I created this work to honor the bond I have with my homeland, celebrate Nowruz and feel closer to my family.
