Meervaart | Lockdown Battle
door Meervaart
Being inside more than ever, it’s easy to feel like you’re living the same day over and over.
With the things that used to fill up my life now mostly gone I often found myself unable to focus, spending a lot of time looking out of the window and contemplating how different life is going to be from now on. I felt like I was stuck in a limbo, like my life was put on hold.
I took these self portraits over the span of two weeks to remind myself to be present. Even if it feels like all days are blurring into one, time is still passing and life is going on, just in a form we’ve never experienced before.
All photos were taken between 24th of April and 7th of May, between 5:01 and 8:28PM in Amsterdam North.
