Goodie bag with reading material
Ask local partners to donate something for a goodie bag that you can hand out to the pupils and add for each child a reading book, also donated by a company. Put everything in a goodie bag and deliver this in person, but keeping a distance of 1.5 metres, to the pupils at home. Our staff of the IMC Weekendschool in Amsterdam Noord spent one weekend packing and cycling to distribute the goodie bags. A great way to support the pupils and to keep in touch! It was wonderful to see those happy faces. This effort was initiated with the help of the organisations Rotary Noord, Hema, Boekhandel Noord and Soap Treatment Store.
