Confessed or confused
The paintings series created during lockdown. It offers the beholder the possibility to dive into a story.
I expanded my concept of painting by further fusing the visual qualities of realistic and surrealistic painting. I now interconnected all paintings with the colour pink. My motivation is to find a way to visualize metaphorically the unconsciousness of my counterpart by depicting the point when one enters into a dream. It is the moment in which one might confuse visions with reality and in which human consciousness interconnects with the subconsciousness.
